Scholarships:
Currently in the United States, there are more scholarships available from colleges and universities for students who wish to row than there are students with rowing experience applying (this is particularly true for girls).
Schools which do not offer scholarships often give admissions preference to students who plan to row.
Rowing with the CLRA could lead to one of these scholarships in the future.
